For the 5th consecutive year, the Karatzis Group of companies was named a "True Leader" in the 11th awarding of the 2020 awards of the same name by the ICAP group of companies, among 59 other co-nominated companies and 15 groups. This award confirms its position as a leading force in the domestic market, continuing to lead in its sector by bringing successful financial results with consistency and commitment to goals.
This distinction is yet another proof that the Karatzi Group, through its overall activity, contributes decisively to the reversal of the climate of recession brought about by the pandemic in the national economy, creating greater prospects for the future of the country. The criteria which were indicators for the group's designation as a "True Leader" were:
- It is among the 500 Companies or 150 Groups with the largest number of staff having significantly increased its staff from 2019 to 2020
- It is at the top of the industry based on its Turnover
- Has a high “ICAP Credit Score”
In his statement, the President and CEO of the Karatzis Group of Companies, Mr. Antonis Karatzis, said: "We are particularly honored that for the 5th year the Group has emerged as a leading force, as such distinctions attest to the hard work and dedication of all our people to the project which with a vision of innovation, extroversion, social responsibility and sustainable development we continue to produce successfully for many years. Despite the difficult conditions caused by the health crisis, the Group remains faithful to its goals with consistency and perseverance and continues to develop and pioneer".
This year's event, under the auspices of the Association of Businesses and Industries (SEB), distinguished among 30,000 businesses that met the institution's criteria the 59 most efficient and profitable in the Greek entrepreneurship sector. As last year, the award was broadcast through an integrated program of digital promotion of the "True Leaders" Companies and Groups in the mass media and Social Media due to the measures to protect against Covid-19.
