Facilities of excellent standards throughout the country
SOLAR PARKS
The Group entered the energy sector in 2007 when it began with necessary licensing procedures. In 2010, its first Solar Parks were launched in the prefecture of Boeotia, followed by those in Larissa. Today, the Group has amassed a total of 48 Solar Parks throughout Greece with total capacity of 286MW.
PIERIA (KOUKOS)
A Solar Park in the settlement of Koukos, in the prefecture of Pieria with total capacity od 5.5MW. The park’s operation started in June 2012, using high-tech equipment from the largest manufacturering companies worldwide.
LARISSA
One of the largest rooftop Solar Parks in Greece is installed atop the Group’s factory in Larissa with total capacity od 1MW. The park benefits from the facilities of the factory and remains environmentally friendly.
THIVA (SPITHARI)
Spithari is located near the community of Neochoraki, in the prefecture of Boeotia and is one of the four Solar Parks found the area.
THIVA (REZA)
The Solar Park of REZA is the second solar facility located in the prefecture of Boeotia and part of the Group’s energy production activities.
THIVA (CHOUNDRI )
Located in the area of Tachi, CHOUNDRI is the third Solar Park in Boeotia and had been operating since 2011.
THIVA (KONIZOS)
In 2011 KONIZOS, the fourth Solar Park in Boeotia, was founded increasing the Group’s annual solar energy production
HERAKLION, CRETE
Four autonomous Solar Parks are in operation on the rooftops of the Group’s industrial facilities in Heraklion, Crete, which lead to an efficient collection of the solar energy with total capacity of 320kWp. Since 2022 it has been installed and operating on one most productive production lines of the Karatzis Group . a Solar station for energy compensation of installed capacity 1.517kWp.
KEFALONIA (PILOS)
One of a total six Solar Parks located in the center of Kefalonia, “Pilos Valsamaton” started its operation in the beginning of 2013 .
KEFALONIA (LOGGOS)
The second of a total six Solar Parks in Kefalonia, which started operating in 2013.
KEFALONIA (FOUNTA)
In March 2013, Founta, the third Solar Park started its operation in Kefalonia.
KEFALONIA (MAKRYLAKOS)
The fourth Solar Park in Kefalonia is situated near the other six facilities, therefore increasing the production of the solar energy.
KEFALONIA (KOMITATA)
The fifth solar park is located in the area of Komitata, in Kefalonia.
KEFALONIA (KALOGRIA)
The sixth Solar Park in Kefalonia, covering part of the solar energy needs of the island.
