For his contribution to sports and his support of athlete Michalis Kalarakis, an event was organized by the Equestrian Academy of Crete. The event aimed to support the Cretan athlete in Para Equestrianism, Michalis Kalarakis, who, after tremendous effort, is vying for a spot in the 2024 Paralympics in Paris.
At the event held on the evening of Friday, February 9th, the New Year’s cake of the Academy was cut, while simultaneously the athletes of the club were awarded.
During the event, the Karatzis Group was awarded for its contribution to sports and its support of the Academy, with special recognition given to the Group’s President, Mr. Antonis Karatzis.
The award was accepted on behalf of the President of the Group by the Internal Audit Director of the Karatzis Group, Mr. Stefanos Varouchakis.
